Pure Imagination -Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

Here's a song I'm pretty fond of from the movie "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" based on the children's book by Roald Dahl. This is of course from the original 1971 interpretation of the book starring Gene Wilder (not the 2005 Tim Burton/Johnny Depp one). In this scene candy maker Willy Wonka welcomes the winners of his contest into his factory, aka a world of "pure imagination." There is actually a rather recent musical called "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" but truthfully, I have yet to listen/know if it's any good. Until then I invite you to sing this classic.
Here are the lyrics:

Come with me and you'll be
In a world of pure imagination
Take a look and you'll see
Into your imagination

We'll begin with a spin
Trav'ling in the world of my creation
What we'll see will defy
Explanation

If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world, there's nothing to it

There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination
Living there, you'll be free
If you truly wish to be

If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world, there's nothing to it

There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination
Living there, you'll be free
If you truly wish to be

Here's that scene from the movie...it always makes me hungry:

Also worth checking out is Michael Feinstein's rendition of this song, which I truly adore:
